Dolphin Blue28x36, Acrylic on Stretched Canvas with Blue Gallery Wrap Border |
||||
After returning from a Florida coastal vacation, there was a natural inspiration of course to “paint a fish”. Of all the sportfish, the bull dolphin is by far the most colorful. The fish literally “lights up” when getting caught or agitated. How in the world can these fish be so wildly colored? Surely when the word neon was first inspired, certainly the colors of this fish would have been involved in that inspiration. Because of the color-blindness of the artist, the bright colors of this fish can be seen over the darker hues of most other fish. Because of the unbelievable colors that occur naturally in these fish, the artist just had to attempt to get them onto the canvas. Available as a full-size (28 X 36) Gallery Wrapped giclée - $275 |
