On a miserably hot, humid day in August, which was too hot for fishing, there was a need for artwork to decorate the newly built office. It was decided that if you can’t go fishing, then you just as well get painting.
 
        This fish jumped out as a great opportunity to show the fish in its habitat, while not completely underwater. In fact, at certain times, while scouring the shallow marshes in South Louisiana, red fish can be seen partly exposed as they “fin” thru the shallows. Sometimes you just have to go where you must go to survive, even though you might feel like a fish out of water.
